Dragon’s Crown Still In Development, Not Cancelled

Earlier this week, I received a sudden message from Amazon.com apologizing for the inconvenience and that my preorder for Dragon's Crown was going to be cancelled. That news, coupled with the rumors that Dragon's Crown might have indeed been scrapped, had me worried that the latest Vanillaware title would have yet to see the light of day.

Earlier this week, I received a sudden message from Amazon.com apologizing for the inconvenience and that my preorder for Dragon’s Crown was going to be cancelled. That news, coupled with the rumors that Dragon’s Crown might have indeed been scrapped, had me worried that the latest Vanillaware title would have yet to see the light of day.

Earlier yesterday on his twitter, Vanillaware artist Shigatake wrote:

“Regarding Dragon’s Crown, although there are lots of rumors and conjecture, it’s still in development.”

Currently, we are awaiting official word from both Vanillaware and publisher Ignition Entertainment.
