Dungeon Defenders Will Be Soul Consuming

Dungeon Defenders has been something I've been looking forward to for a while now. That being said, I've been keeping my eyes on it and have tried to post anything relavent about it. Therefore, it should be no surprise that I'm posting news about this.

Dungeon Defenders has been something I’ve been looking forward to for a while now. That being said, I’ve been keeping my eyes on it and have tried to post anything relavent about it. Therefore, it should be no surprise that I’m posting news about this:

What is it? It’s the fifth Dungeon Defenders developer diary from our buddies over at Trendy Entertainment.

This dev diary (for those of you who have decided not to watch it yourselves) describes all the different game modes that are available within the game. This includes but is not limited to:

– The main campaign which is what players will most likely originally run through. It exists as a steady game to be played through by your lonesome or in co-op.

– An additional Challenge Mode: This will exist as a little extra something something to challenge players as they play.

– Infinity Mode: Here, players force themselves to try and survive wave after wave of imminent death while working towards the high score.

– Pure Strategy Mode: This exists so that players can try to win with just tower defense strategies. No super-powered characters will exist to help you.

And that is the line-up. Tune in later for the review of a game that I’m almost positive will be made of amazing. Also, just in case you didn’t know; Dungeon Defenders is available now for PC, PSN and XBLA.
