Much to the surprise of no one, there’s also news of pre-order bonuses for the title – albeit with a slight twist. As detailed in the video above, publisher Square Enix is gunning for a new approach with Mankind Divided‘s Augment your Pre-order feature. As opposed to lumping all content under one umbrella, ensuring that every player receives the same package, Square is giving those early adopters the chance to customize their pre-order through various tiers of content.

Now, there are those who may believe that Square is taking it a step too far with its approach to pre-orders – ever a divisive subject in the industry – though the company earns the benefit of the doubt for attempting to something new. Here’s a rundown of the in-game content available in Tier 1 of the offerings.

Intruder Pack – Provides a custom-skinned version of Adam Jensen’s trench coat and pistol with a silencer, laser sight, recoil and accuracy upgrades. Other bonuses include two EMP grenades, five packs of 10MM pistol ammo, 1000 credits and a Praxis point for early augmentations.
Enforcer Pack – Includes a custom-skinned version of Adam Jensen’s combat armor and combat rifle with a holosight, reload and capacity upgrades. Players will also receive two HE grenades, five packs of 5.56MM combat rifle ammo, 1000 credits and a Praxis Point for early augmentations
Classic Pack – Grants access to Adam Jensen’s iconic combat armor, trench coat and revolver from Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Players will also receive an extra pack of revolver Ammo.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will herald the return of Adam Jensen when Eidos’ sequel makes its bow across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on February 23, 2016.
