Has hours upon hours of questing left you feeling like you’ve explored all of Skyrim‘s ins and outs? If so, then tomorrow will bring with it a new reason to dive back into the gigantic interactive world, as Bethesda Softworks has confirmed a June 26 release date for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Dawnguard. As the incredibly popular role-playing game’s first major downloadable content release, it will offer fans a gothic quest to undertake, featuring 10 to 20 hours of vampiric gameplay.

Here’s a quick synopsis:

The Vampire Lord Harkon has returned to power. Using the Elder Scrolls, he seeks to do the unthinkable – to end the sun itself. Will you join the ancient order of the Dawnguard and stop him, or will you yourself become a Vampire Lord?

Featuring an all new faction questline, new locations, weapons, creatures and more; the ultimate choice will be yours.

For those who’ve yet to hear, Dawnguard is a timed Xbox 360 exclusive, and will set players back 1600 Microsoft Points. It will only be released in English-speaking territories at this time.
