Placing a heavy emphasis on the tactical gameplay found within the cops versus robbers shooter, the footage offers players a rundown of all the new bells and whistles within the latest installment in the series, not to mention the new-fangled gadgets that will redefine your approach to any given conflict. From ziplines to powerful stun guns, there are a plethora of new toys to get your hands on in what has been described as the fastest Battlefield to date.

In accordance with previous rumors, the studio is also gearing up for another beta test, which will begin on February 3 through to February 8. In a statement, Steve Papoutsis — General Manager at Visceral — underlined the importance of the upcoming bout of testing, as it will provide a priceless opportunity to stress test the servers so close to release.

“There’s nothing more valuable to our team than the relationship we have with our community. Their passion feeds our passion and their feedback has definitely helped make Hardline a better game. We want them to play the hell out of the beta next week and trust that they’ll keep that feedback coming so we can continue to fine tune the game.”

Earlier this week, we learned much more about some of the new game modes and maps that will make an appearance in the final build of Battlefield: Hardline, not to mention the return of the fan favourite Conquest mode (because who doesn’t love a war between 64 players?). But Visceral is also shaking things up with new game modes such as Blood Money, which will see players duke it out to steal and maintain as much cash as possible from the opposing team.

Battlefield: Hardline‘s latest beta will kick off on Saturday, February 3 ahead of the shooter’s full release on March 17.
