Ubisoft has released the first in a three-part series of trailers today for Far Cry 3, titled Island Survival Guide, that reveals all the beautifully rendered ways to die in their upcoming first-person-shooter.

The Island Survival Guides are narrated by ex-CIA operative Agent Huntley, who spouts witty one-liners like “It’s waiting to pounce on you faster than rising gasoline prices.”, as he takes you through a tour of the Rook Islands.

The real star of the trailer though is all the extremely eye-catching graphics in the game that range from jungle ruins, to beautiful aerial shots from a hang-glider, underwater passages, and hungry arm-chewing tigers.

Now you may be asking yourself, “Sure there are tigers, but are there lions and bears to complete the trifecta?” Well, Ubisoft has not confirmed the lions, but bears were shown in the preview for part 2 of the Far Cry 3 Island Survival Guide, right around the 2:20 mark. I’m guessing they are saving the lions for part 3. Oh my!

Far Cry 3 launches on December 4th in North America and November 30th across Europe for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
