In the game, players will take control of the fourteen elite students that make up the group known as Class Zero. Up to three can be used at once in real-time battles, each sporting unique weapons and abilities that can be levelled up through battle. If one of those three falls in battle, another one can be summoned as a backup.

Magic abilities can also be used and levelled up using a material defeated enemies drop. All three students can also team up to perform a powerful move known as a Triad maneuver, and solo characters can sacrifice themselves to activate a playable summon, including series regular Ifrit.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD will launch on March 17. We will continue to cover the game as more news becomes available, so stay tuned.
