[UPDATE] A Game Informer ad has revealed the announcement to be for a contest called Hitman: Sniper Challenge. Full details here. Original story below.
IO Interactive released an image this morning that shows Agent 47 from the Hitman series looking over a city skyline while holding a sniper rifle. The image has May 10th, 2012 written on it, indicating that we will hear some kind of announcement concerning the barcoded assassin this Thursday.
It’s impossible to tell if this announcement is concerning the upcoming Hitman: Absolution or something new that has not yet been announced. We will keep our eyes open for more information and update this post if anything turns up.
