Zombie killing fans rejoice, SEGA has today announced plans to release an extended cut version of their zombie shooter House of the Dead: Overkill in all of its B-Movie glory (or is it gory?) on the PlayStation 3.

House of the Dead: Overkill – Extended Cut will be a PlayStation 3 exclusive and come with quite a few extras, including remastered versions of the original seven stages as well as two brand new scenarios that will include two very angry and armed strippers. There will even be a new toy to really deal out some damage to those pesky zombies, a crossbow equipped with explosive bolts.

As you might expect for a PlayStation 3 game like House of the Dead the game will support PlayStation Move and have the option of 3D. To learn more about House of the Dead: Overkill – Extended Cut visit the game’s official site.

For those of you attending E3 next month SEGA will be showing more of the game then and gamers will get their hands on the full release October 25th, 2011 in the US and October 28th, 2011 for Europe.
