With Hogwarts Legacy early access underway, many budding students of witchcraft and wizardry are seeking to get the most out of their experience with the game by claiming digital deluxe rewards, among other things.

Upon starting the game, a prompt appears offering for players to link their Warner Bros. and Harry Potter Fan Club accounts, and import some data from the Wizarding World site, including their Hogwarts house and wand.

Of course, as with any big video game or streaming launch, the internet and the various servers which make it tick can only handle so much traffic, and the Wizarding World site became inundated with users attempting to link up their accounts. Is that still the case right now?

It’s often difficult to discern whether or not a website (rather than a video game server) is down, but there are tools which can help determine whether or not any trouble that you may be experiencing with Wizarding World is isolated to you, or a more widespread issue.

For one thing, you can check a site like UpdownRadar to monitor, and report any issues you are experiencing with Wizarding World or any other high volume site, and see if other users are experiencing similar issues.

UpdownRadar data appears to have shown a spike with users experiencing issues around the time early access began, and there’s a good chance that such a spike may happen once again once Hogwarts Legacy releases to the masses on Feb. 10.

Another potential resource that may be of use if such a surge happens again could be the Wizarding World Twitter account, which could possibly provide updates on the status of the site’s functionality. At worst, you could always shoot that account a DM to report any problems.
