Rico Rodriguez was never one to play by the rules, and Avalanche is really pushing that devil-may-care character trait front and center ahead of the release of open-world threequel, Just Cause 3. With little over two months until its grand debut on current-gen consoles and PC, the developer has showcased the game’s season pass, bundling together a trio of expansion packs that take place across land, air and sea.

First appearing over on Steam, the comprehensive package will be priced at $24.99 (£19.99), with an additional 10% discount available should you decide to pre-order before November 30 – up until the eve of release, essentially. Avalanche has noted that each expansion will be available to everyone, though season pass holders will be entitled to download each content pack a week early.

What can we expect, then? Well, according to the Steam product listing, the season pass itself will grant access to “three new game-changing explosive experiences including new action-packed missions, new enemy types, weapons, gadgets and unique vehicles that transform the Just Cause 3 world.”

Along with the story-centric additions, there’s also some cosmetic items included in the Just Cause 3 expansions, namely exclusive Flame Wingsuit and Parachute Skins, allowing you to deck out your own version of Rico Rodriguez before setting foot in the Mediterranean. These add-ons will be available on day-one when the explosive sequel touches down in early December.

Just Cause 3 will rappel onto PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on December 1. Tell us, are you anticipating the return of one Rico Rodriguez?
