Eager warriors can test out their skills by checking out the demo for Big Huge Games‘ upcoming release, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. It was released onto Xbox LIVE earlier today, but PSN and PC releases are also scheduled for today.

If you’ve been waiting to test what has been dubbed as a lengthy action-RPG, then this is your chance to see if it lives up to the created hype. Plus, it’s an opportunity to see what former MLB pitching great, Curt Schilling, dreamed of creating. Well, in trial form, at least.

Those who can’t wait for Mass Effect 3 also have a good reason to give this fantasy title’s trial a chance. By playing the demo, players’ accounts will be gifted with two unique items, which will become available when BioWare‘s highly-anticipated second sequel releases. That present includes the close-combat benefiting Reckoner Knight Armor, as well as the Chakram Launcher, which shoots exploding discs.

Make sure to download the demo, available now!
