If listings on video game ratings boards are anything to go by (and they typically are), Capcom’s Resident Evil: Revelations may soon be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

According to the Korean ratings board GRB, Capcom has applied for their 3DS survival-horror title Resident Evil: Revelations to be rated for both the 360 and PS3. Aside from the game’s rating being classified on November 23, 2012, neither listing provides any details about the unconfirmed port. With nothing official to go on, we can only guess as to how and when Capcom plans to distribute the title on Microsoft and Sony’s consoles.

For as much as Resident Evil 6 disappointed fans this year, it is nice to hear that Capcom might be releasing Resident Evil: Revelations onto consoles in the near future. The 3DS game marked a true return to survival-horror for the franchise, and porting it up to the bigger TV screens would certainly be a nice olive branch to the series’ disappointed base.

We will keep an eye out for any further information on an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 release for Resident Evil: Revelations and let you know as soon as Capcom announces anything official.
