You can give the reveal trailer above a quick watch for a hint as to what we’re talking about, but we can’t imagine it’ll take long to suss out – the add-on bears more than just a passing resemblance to the original BioShockWe imagine the similar theme is simply a result of the folks over at Psyonix being a fan of Ken Levine’s work – there’s certainly no mistaking the inspiration.

Anyway, before we digress to much, AquaDome is a free map headed to Rocket League next month, and marks the arrival of the title’s first underwater arena, as well as two brand new racers with which to do battle. Triton and Proteus are both suitably marine-themed cars and will be available to purchase separately for $1.99 each.

Rocket League is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, with cross-platform play between the two latter platforms possible. Psyonix has stated in the past that they would like to eventually see owners of Sony and Microsoft’s consoles play together too, and while such a thing is possible, it appears as if Sony may not be particularly keen on the idea.
