Latest Tribes: Ascend Update Adds New Weapons And Encourages Clan Play

It seems that no matter what else is going on in the world, Tribes: Ascend is always waiting to welcome me home like a loveable puppy. It doesn’t care if I go and play around with other games, or that I may have been gone for a while, it’s just happy that I’m back. However, every so often my adorable little puppy dog manages to learn a few new tricks in hopes of garnering my attention again, and well, I just can’t say no to the little guy.

The latest patch introduces a host of new things, however, the top two are easily the party function and the Twinfusor. The party function allows for players to join groups to play as, making it much easier to get up with a friend or jump into a clan game. The Twinfusor adds a slightly less powerful spinfuser that allows a player to fire twice in rapid succession, something that is sure to add to the strategy of players looking to quickly clear the flag area before swooping in for a capture.
