Two of Snake’s best missions will be going portable this June, which is when Konami will release the Vita version of its Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. An exact date has not been announced, although both Gamestop and Amazon are listing June 12 on their websites. Then again, that may not be correct.

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will make its portable debut with a duet of PlayStation 2 classics: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Peace Walker has been omitted, but that’s surely because the game is already available for the PlayStation Portable.
