Ninja Arms Trademarked By Capcom

Siliconera has dug up a new trademark by Capcom indicating that they might be developing a new video game called Ninja Arms.

The Ninja Arms trademark was recently filed in Cacpom’s home country of Japan, and specifically mentions that it will be used in conjunction with video games.

As is always the case, the simple fact that the trademark exists doesn’t guarantee that Capcom will ever produce a game using the name. With that said, they are not a company known to waste time trademarking names they don’t intend to use. Both Asura’s Wrath and Dragon’s Dogma trademarks were discovered long before the games were announced, and more recently the company trademarked Remember Me prior to its Gamescom reveal.

Right now we can only speculate about what Ninja Arms could be, assuming it does end up being made. I’d like to think that it will be a game about an armless Ninja who is searching for his/hers arms, but told from the perspective of the lost Ninja Arms.
