Painkiller: Hell & Damnation Will Hit Your PC This Halloween

I’m not sure what inspired game companies to bring back the more classic FPS experience I grew up with, but I’m glad they did. With the success of Serious Sam 3 and Rise of the Triad in development, I dare say we’re standing in the door way of a new golden era of gaming. Cult classic Painkiller is finally getting the reboot treatment as Painkiller: Hell & Damnation will be released on PC’s this Halloween. Those of you looking to slay some demons on consoles will have to wait until January 22nd.

I’m not sure what inspired game companies to bring back the more classic FPS experience I grew up with, but I’m thankful for it. With the success of Serious Sam 3 and Rise of the Triad in development, I dare say we’re standing in the doorway of a new golden era of gaming.

Cult classic Painkiller is finally getting the reboot treatment as Painkiller: Hell & Damnation will be released on PC’s this Halloween. Those of you looking to slay some demons on consoles will have to wait until January 22nd.

“We’re committed to offering games of the highest quality and rewarding the fans with additional content that truly adds depth,” says Peter Hercher, PR & Marketing at Nordic Games GmbH. “It’s fantastic that we can offer this at a price which is superb value for money. The game is an explosive action classic that has been packed full of the darkest parts of hell and fantastic bonus material, for an extreme, demonic experience.”

Painkiller: Hell & Damnation will retail for $19.99, but there will be a collector’s edition available on the PC for $29.99 that includes the soundtrack, a making of DVD, and art book, an exclusive multiplayer skin and a tarot card power up for single mode.

As always, we’ll keep you posted when we have more news to report.
