PopCap Games and Microsoft announced today at Gamescom that both Peggle 2 and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will be exclusive to Xbox platforms when they launch.

Peggle 2, which was briefly announced at Electronic Arts’ E3 press conference last June, will launch as an Xbox One exclusive alongside the next generation console sometime this November. We still don’t have much information about the Peggle sequel, but reports from Gamescom suggest that the game will include new power-ups, modes, multiplayer options, and gesture control via Kinect 2.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will not make the Xbox One launch, but it will land on the upcoming console sometime in Spring 2014. Following its next-gen debut, the shooter will also be ported to the Xbox 360, but a release window for the current/last-gen version was not announced.

We know from its debut at E3 that Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will also make its way to the PC and PlayStation 4 at some point, but EA was (understandably) not talking about those versions during Microsoft’s Gamescom event. This is just speculation on our part, but we suspect that Peggle 2 will also be a timed exclusive and make the jump to every other platform known to man soon after its debut on the Xbox One.
