PlayStation Plus July Preview: Battlefield 3, Jet Set Radio, And Oddworld Free

Sony has announced the July 2013 PlayStation Plus preview for North America, revealing that DICE's Battlefield 3 will kick off another stellar month of additions to the free Instant Game Collection when the PS Store updates later today.

Sony has announced the July 2013 PlayStation Plus preview for North America, revealing that DICE’s Battlefield 3 will kick off another stellar month of additions to the free Instant Game Collection when the PS Store updates later today.

In total, the PlayStation Blog revealed that the following five titles will be added to the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection over the course of the month (in no particular order): Battlefield 3 (PS3, July 2nd), Metal Slug XX (PSP, Compatible on PS Vita), Jet Set Radio (PS3), Dokuro (PS Vita), and Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee HD (PS3).

Per standard operating procedure, the new additions to the Instant Game Collection will be replacing some of the existing titles. So, if you have not done so already, make sure to add the following to your download list before they leave the free IGC:

  • July 2nd – Deus Ex: Human Revolution
  • July 9th – Joe Danger 2 The Movie
  • July 16rd – The Cave
  • July 23rd – Germinator
  • July 30th – Zero’s Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward

Aside from the new games hitting the Instant Game Collection, Sony is also kicking off a Summer Blast 2013 sale when the store updates later today. The discounts (60% for everyone, 80% for PlayStation Plus subscribers) will take place over the first two weeks of July, according to the following schedule:
