Sony has posted the PlayStation Plus October preview, revealing that 38 Studios’ fateful swan song, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, will be one of the titles added to subscribers’ free Instant Game Collection in the coming weeks.

Along with Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, October will also see the following games hit the PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection; the HD remake of Team Ico’s PS2 classic Shadow of the Colossus (PS3), the game that finally brought GLaDOS and Claptrap together Poker Night 2 (PS3), the indie top-down shooter Hotline Miami (PS Vita/PS3 Cross-Buy), and the horizontal shoot’em up Sine Mora (PS Vita).

As always, the exact order that the five titles will be added to the IGC has not been announced, so you will have to check back every Monday to see what Sony has in store for that week’s PlayStation Plus update.

While September’s Plus lineup left a lot to be desired, it does not seem like there will be much to complain about next month. Since I already own both the original and HD version of Shadow of the ColossusReckoning and Hotline Miami are probably the two titles that I’m looking forward to checking out the most.

That is, assuming I’m able to work through some of my existing (and massive) PlayStation Plus backlog between now and then.
