The last weekly PlayStation Plus update of July 2013 is upon us, revealing that subscribers to Sony’s premium service will find Dokuro for the PS Vita added to the free Instant Game Collection when the PSN updates tomorrow afternoon.

Dokuro, Game Arts’ 2012 puzzle platformer, has players take on the role of a little skeleton warrior (named Dokuro) in the Dark Lord’s army. One day Dokuro sees the Dark Lord return to his castle with a captured princess, whom he plans to force into marriage. Moved by the crying princess, the tiny skeleton springs into action and vows to help her escape the Dark Lord’s clutches. Players must switch between Dokuro’s Skeleton and Hero forms to use his different abilities to defeat the castle’s traps and free the princess.

Outside of the addition to the IGC, Sony has also announced some pretty nice markdowns on a pair of titles. The first is a $3 launch week discount for PixelJunk Monsters: Ultimate HD (PS Vita), which makes the game a cool $11.99 for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The second is an absolutely huge discount on the two different versions of Rockstar’s Max Payne 3, which puts the regular game at a mere $7.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $11.99 for Plus members.

Finally, Sony has issued “last chance” warnings for Battlefield 3 in the IGC and the discounts on the Thomas Was Alone: Benjamin’s Flight DLC and Ibb & Obb preorder. All three items switch over to their normal prices on August 6th.

That wraps up this week’s PlayStation Plus update, let us know which offers tickle your fancy down in the comments below.
