To celebrate the release of Pokemon Sun and Moon in November, Nintendo of Europe has announced a special edition for each version to be released in Europe this Fall. The so-called ‘Fan Editions’ of the 7th generation titles will come packaged in the standard plastic case, alongside an exclusive Steelbook that features art work of the new Alola region on the inside.

But wait, that’s not the only enticing limited edition Nintendo has planned for the continent. A New Nintendo 3DS XL – Solgaleo and Lunala Limited Edition (pictured below) will also be going on sale prior to the release of Sun and Moon on November 18 (November 23 in Europe).

Looks pretty fancy, right? Unfortunately, there’s currently no word on whether the Fan Editions or the special 3DS will be coming to North America, but never say never!

There’s still a few months yet before Pokemon Sun and Moon continue the Gotta Catch ‘Em All craze, but to whet your appetite, Nintendo has been steadily releasing new details for both titles over the last few weeks. In fact, just last week three brand new Pokemon were revealed in the company’s E3 livestream, as well as new gameplay. See here for more details.
