We have some unfortunate news for those of you holding out for Grand Theft Auto V on PC, as Rockstar Games has today revealed plans to delay the port once more to April. Previously slated for March 25, the fifth numerical entry into the series will now grace the platform on April 10.

In taking to Rockstar Newswire, the studio expressed its own disappointment before making the decision, and revealed that players who have pre-ordered the PC version will be entitled to some in-game bonuses as compensation.

“Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC,” Rockstar writes. “As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online.”

Thankfully, it wasn’t all doom and gloom in Rockstar’s announcement this morning, as the company confirmed that the long-awaited Heists feature will finally make an appearance in Grand Theft Auto Online on March 10.

We are excited to announce that the launch of Heists for GTA Online is scheduled for March 10th. We know it’s been a wait, and appreciate your patience.
