This past weekend Reddit user marcodj uploaded several pictures to the Internet of what he claims was a live-action Grand Theft Auto V commercial shoot that took place outside his residence in Mexico City between Saturday April 20th and late Sunday April 21st.

According to the Reddit user’s unconfirmed report, the staff was “very open about people walking by and taking pictures” and even offered to let him sit in the “tent” and watch the results — since the filming was blocking access to his garage door. Ironically, the film staff also offered him a cup of coffee as he watched the results of the Grand Theft Auto V commercial shoot on their monitors.

As far as the content of the unconfirmed live-action Grand theft Auto V commercial, marcodj described the scene as follows:

“The guy in the suit of the last photo exits the totaled car while talking to the camera, as he makes his way out, the car explodes and he walks by the car under the trees while some other effects are set behind him (I managed to see these in a monitor)”

The filming of a live-action Grand Theft Auto V commercial this past weekend has not been confirmed, so this should technically be considered a rumor. With that said, the pictures do appear to be legitimate, and are very impressive if they have been faked. The good news is that these images should not be hard to confirm if and when the commercial is released.

The full set of unconfirmed Grand Theft Auto V live-action pictures is posted in the gallery below.

[Update 1] Two additional pictures from the alleged GTA V commercial shoot have been added to the gallery.
