It’s official: Along with Injustice: Gods Among Us, PS4-owning PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download Secret Ponchos for free, starting on December 2nd. The two games will combine to form the month’s Instant Game Collection additions and will offer a hefty dose of variety in the process.
A Western-inspired competitive shooter, Secret Ponchos is a game that has been in the news for quite a while now. The Switchblade Monkeys-developed title was originally scheduled to release in April, but was delayed for fine tuning.
If you’re late to the party and have yet to hear about it, this synopsis (taken from the game’s official website) will help bring you up to speed:
Secret Ponchos takes place in a dramatic Wild West setting, full of tension, stylization and attitude reflective of a graphic-novel. In a town crawling with bandits, murderers and bounty hunters you are an outlaw with a bounty on your head and everyone is gunning for you. In order to survive you must be the best and to gain notoriety you must defeat your opponents–claiming their achievements as your own. How many you kill and the rewards you collect define your legacy.
We’re still several days away from the beginning of next month, which means that you still have some time to polish your boots, spurs and six-shooters before taking on all comers in Secret Ponchos. Make sure you’re ready, because the cowboy competition will likely be stiff.
