Taking the stage prior to the footage airing, Sutherland talked about not only his excitement in regards to participating in the project, but also his belief in a future in the entertainment industry where gaming, film and television all come together as one. Kojima followed afterwards in order to introduce footage from the versus mode of Metal Gear Online, which will come bundled with the upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

In the trailer, which can be seen above, we see Snake and his team infiltrate a desert compound where they co-ordinate and execute their attacks in a quick and lethal fashion. We also see the usual bit of Metal Gear-oddness, as plush puppies and the sure to be popular Fulton balloon make an appearance as well. To cap off the clip, Snake even takes a selfie with nemesis Ocelot.
