Two years ago, a little XBOX Live Arcade title known as Shadow Complex, wowed gamers around the globe. Since then, many have been wondering if they’ll ever see a sequel to the popular side-scrolling action/platformer. Well, according to Chair Entertainment creative director Donald Mustard, there is hope for those aforementioned fans who yearn to go back into the Orson Scott Card created universe.

“More Shadow Complex isn’t a question of if, it’s a question of when,” said Mustard. “Shadow Complex is our baby and we love it dearly and, y’know, we’re working on some cool stuff [in general].”

There were rumors about the game making its way onto smartphones – however, Mustard seems to believe the game requires a controller for its precision-based gameplay.

Shadow Complex is designed for a controller. I’m not a fan of trying to shoehorn console controls onto touch screens. They don’t feel right. You just lose so much precision.”

So it looks like the team wants to do it, and judging by the success of the first game I’m sure it won’t be too long until we see a sequel. Good news eh?

Would you like to see a sequel to Shadow Complex?
