Set to take flight on October 28, Bethesda has rolled out a series stunning new screenshots for Skyrim: Special Edition, while also offering some insight into how mod support operates across PS4 and Xbox One.

Bundling together all three expansions for The Elder Scrolls V – namely Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and HearthfireSkyrim Special Edition boasts enhanced visuals, increased depth of field and reworked lighting.

When it comes to mods, those who picked up Bethesda’s Fallout 4 late last year ought to have a rough understanding of the feature, and budding explorers will be able to access the “full power of PC mods” via the home menu.

Like Fallout 4, you can browse and search for the latest and greatest Skyrim Mods, choose your favorites, post feedback, and install them – all from within the game. Simply select Mods from the Skyrim main menu, and start browsing. You can also browse through Skyrim mods online on Bethesda.net.

Look for Skyrim: Special Edition to hit PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 28. It’ll be priced at $59.99, and you can have a gander at the official PS4 box art for Bethesda’s upcoming re-release, below.
