E3 2016 is yet to begin in earnest and already, publishers have began rolling out a cavalcade of teaser trailers and snippets to stoke excitement ahead of the main event.

The latest to tumble off the production line arrives by way of Respawn Entertainment, shedding just a sliver of light on Titanfall 2 ahead of its gameplay reveal on Sunday, June 12. At only 12 seconds in length, this is the true definition of a teaser, and we’ll shelve any early opinions until Respawn brings the curtain down on its much-anticipated and multi-platform sequel.

Even still, with a fully-fledged story campaign in tow, fans can certainly look forward to a more robust experience, with Respawn previously teasing that it will look to spin out a story that essentially takes the American Civil War and reworks it for a galactic setting.

In tandem with today’s all-too-brief snippet, details relating to the shooter’s Collector’s Editions have reportedly surfaced via NeoGAF. Included below, it appears as though Titanfall 2 will herald two premium packages, and they each feature a bevy of extras and memorabilia that even includes an authentic Pilot’s helmet.

The inaugural EA Play event is due to take place on Sunday, June 12 at 13:00pm PDT (21:00pm BST). Expect news pertaining to Mass Effect Andromeda, Battlefield 1 and of course, Titanfall 2. You can go up close and personal with those aforementioned – and as yet unconfirmed – Collector’s Editions, below.
