Take Back What’s Rightfully Yours In Live-Action Trailer For Dishonored 2

A stolen throne. An empire in chaos. It can only be the live-action trailer for Arkane's Dishonored 2. Look for the sequel to arrive on November 11.

We are, at the time of writing, three weeks into October, and the slate of new releases shows no sign of letting up. Just last week, DICE’s lavish period shooter Battlefield 1 entered the fray in style, and players will soon be buckling up for Respawn’s Titanfall 2 come Friday, October 28.

That deluge will continue long into November, too, and one title that is hot on everyone’s lips is Dishonored 2, the stealth-action sequel hailing from Arkane Studios. Pegged for launch on November 11th, Bethesda has today peeled back the curtain on the stunning launch trailer, one designed to flaunt the supernatural abilities of both Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano, the two protagonists at the heart of the story.

After a bat-shit crazy witch known as Delilah threatens to drag the Empire into anarchy, it’s up to Kaldwin and Attano to fight to reclaim what’s rightfully theirs. But perhaps the most intriguing element of Dishonored 2 is the fact that you can play through the campaign as either Emily or Corvo the Royal Protector, which ought to open up some replay value in a few weeks’ time.

A stolen throne. An empire in chaos. An Empress and a Royal Protector are all that stand between a mad witch and absolute power. When Dishonored 2 launches on November 11 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, it will be up to you to choose the legacy you leave behind as either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano. Will you soak the streets in blood as you fight to take back what’s rightfully yours from Delilah? Or will you ghost through the world, quietly uncovering the mystery brewing in the Empire of the Isles?

Dishonored 2 will make a beeline for PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 11. The only question left now is, will you be journeying through Arkane’s sequel as Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano?
