Picking up shortly after the events of December’s premiere, next week’s installment will follow the continuing adventures of Rhys and Fiona as they learn much more about the Atlas Corporation and its innate connection with Pandora prior to the Hyperion takeover. It is the second of five planned episodes for the series’ maiden season.

Retaining the humor and moral choices found in the first episode, Tales From the Borderlands‘ sophomore chapter has a greater expectation resting on its burly shoulders, considering the critical reception of its premiere late last year.

In fact, in our review of the premiere episode, Zer0 Sum, we praised Telltale for nailing the tone and atmosphere of Tales From the Borderlands, which may prove to be one of the studio’s key story-driven franchises moving forward.

Tales From The Borderlands: Episode 1 – ZerO Sum is a strong debut for what looks to be another Telltale Games classic.

The Hyperion adventure will continue when Atlas Mugged makes its way to Xbox platforms, Steam, and North American PlayStation 4 on Tuesday, March 17, before arriving on other platforms in the days after. We’ll update this post accordingly once Telltale has confirmed that episode’s European release details.
