After years of waiting and many cancellation rumors, it seems that The Last Guardian will be with us before long. During tonight’s E3 showing, Sony revealed that Fumito Ueda’s long in the making epic will launch on October 25th.
Accompanying the release date reveal was a brand new trailer that showcases some of the trouble that the boy and his pet Trico will face. And while the action seen here is certainly intense, the real beauty of the clip comes from the gorgeous world designed by the group over at Team Ico.
Honestly, it’s unreal to think that we’ll be able to get our hands on The Last Guardian come October, and we’re already drooling at the thought of finally being able to play this sure to be masterpiece.
