For Xbox One owners, a feature promised early on but not available at launch was the ability to stream gameplay footage for the world to see via Twitch.tv. Now, the wait seems to be over, as the ability to utilize the app to stream your own footage has been made available today thanks to the latest system update.

Official confirmation was made via Twitch’s Twitter account:

Likely timed to coincide with the much-hyped release of Titanfall, Twitch recording is currently limited in availability, as only Xbox Live Gold members have access to it for the time being. One nice feature it apparently has over the already-available PlayStation 4 version is the ability to save and archive your captured footage, which should come in handy.

Will you be using the new Twitch feature? Sound off below!
