THQ has announced (via Joystiq) the official release date for their highly-anticipated yearly wrestling game WWE ’13. The game will land in stores near you on October 30th, 2012, which is ahead of schedule when compared to the previous years’ November launch.

WWE ’13 looks to be focusing on the Attitude Era of wrestling, with classic superstars like The Undertaker, Road Dogg and Mankind already confirmed.

How does the Attitude Era fit into all of this? It looks like the Road to WrestleMania feature has been scrapped and replaced with an Attitude Era storyline that allows you to change epic moments from the past.

The game will also have some overhauls in the match settings, now allowing you to set which kind of match you’re playing (quick, normal and epic). This essentially means you can play out a match quickly like an episode of Raw or SmackDown! or slower and much more grueling like an actual PPV.

WWE ’13 will be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii.

Check out the launch trailer below and make sure to check back with us for more videos/news regarding the title as we inch closer to release!
