Zen Studios has announced their next addition to the popular Marvel Pinball franchise, a new standalone table titled Civil War.

Civil War is based on the 2006 six-part Marvel Comic saga, and has players pick sides between Iron Man in support of the Superhuman Registration Act or Captain America in his fight against it. Each side in the conflict offers unique gameplay aspects.

For example, Iron Man can call on the Thunderbolts for help, while Captain America might get a helping gun from the Punisher. Additionally, there is a pool of undecided heroes that players can compete to have join their side in the conflict.

The new table will be available across all platforms where Zen Studios pedals their fantastic pinball games, including:

Pinball FX2 – Xbox Live Arcade and Windows 8
Zen Pinball 2 – Cross Buy entitled content for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita
Marvel Pinball – PlayStation 3
Zen Pinball 2 – Mac App Store
Zen Pinball – iTunes App Store
Zen Pinball THD – Google Play.

Check out the Civil War trailer and screenshots below, and we will update you as soon as Zen announces a release date.
