After the success of Deadpool, it made a lot of sense for Fox to give Logan an R-rating. The angry, violent character has always been slightly constrained by his previous PG-13 films, so it’ll be very interesting to see him really let rip in his final appearance.

To fit with the rating, two trailers for Logan were released in tandem – a green band one and a red band version. There really isn’t much to separate them apart from one single scene – Wolverine ramming his claw up through a guy’s chin and out the top of his head. It’s a moment that definitely raises an eyebrow and shows that Logan is going to fully embrace its R-Rated status. Despite the trailer’s emphasis on character and atmosphere, there’s bound to be a lot more of this in the film.
