3) No One’s Safe…
As superhero movies have grown in prestige, more and more respected performers have jumped on the bandwagon and landed roles in comic book films. Despite losing a couple of big names early on in the casting process (we mourn your loss Tom Hardy), Suicide Squad has attracted a number of A-list stars, including Will Smith in the role of Deadshot and Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, a role she was born to play.
Using a cast of this caliber often means that these characters remain safe, yet the very nature of Suicide Squad is that these villains frequently die and are replaced on a regular basis. If DC are brave enough, then perhaps even the films biggest stars could meet their maker by the end of the movie, adding real gravity to the events depicted in Suicide Squad.
