5) Mark Strong
Mark Strong is no stranger to playing comic book villains, after featuring as crime boss Frank D’Amico in Kick-Ass and Sinestro in Green Lantern (though he didn’t get to play the character as an antagonist). He’s perhaps a predictable choice for Norman Osborn, then, but he would be a reliable one nonetheless.
[zergpaid]Strong is often at his best in movies with a sense of subversion about them, hence his frequent collaborations with director Matthew Vaughn. What we saw of Tom Holland’s Spidey in Captain America: Civil War suggests he will be the funniest Spider-Man yet, so presumably that will continue in Spider-Man: Homecoming. A Norman Osborn played with menace as well as having his tongue firmly in his cheek would be a good fit for Holland’s take, then, and Strong would be the perfect pick to portray that.
