Per FlixPatrol, the rage-fueled rampage of revenge has nabbed a Top 10 berth in 63 countries dotted across five continents, good enough to see it rank as the platform’s second most-watched title on a worldwide level behind only star-studded action comedy Die Hart: The Movie.

In 23 of those nations Sayen holds the number one spot, so co-directors Alexander Witt and Victor Uribe have clearly struck a nerve that’s ensared audiences in its maw. The story plunges Rallen Montenegro’s title hero in the midst of a maelstrom, with the vengeful youngster dedicating herself to tracking down the people who murdered her grandmother.

Weaponizing her knowledge and familiarity with the local Chilean terrain, it doesn’t take long before the tables begin to turn, while there’s also a conspiracy thrown into the mix that finds a nefarious corporation threatening the indigenous land her people and ancestors have called home for generations.
