The Adventures Of Tintin Trailer Arrives

After the release of the poster yesterday, we now have the first trailer for Steven Spielberg's The Adventures Of Tintin. Running for only about a minute, we really don't see a whole lot. But from what we do see, I can say that I'm pretty impressed with the motion capture. It truly looks fantastic, near photo-realistic even despite it being a bit cartoonish. It feels a bit childish which is probably due to Nickelodeon's involvement. But overall, I'm feeling optimistic about it and am looking forward to the December 23rd release date.

After the release of the poster yesterday, we now have the first trailer for Steven Spielberg‘s The Adventures Of Tintin. Running for only about a minute, we really don’t see a whole lot. But from what we do see, I can say that I’m pretty impressed with the motion capture. It truly looks fantastic, near photo-realistic even despite it being a bit cartoonish. The film does feel a bit childish, which is probably due to Nickelodeon’s involvement. But overall, I’m feeling optimistic about The Adventures Of Tintin and am looking forward to the December 23rd release date.

The film is based on the series of graphic novels by Georges Prosper Remi, who is better know as Hergé. Jamie Bell stars as Tintin and Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Daniel Craig, Cary Elwes, Toby Jones, Mackenzie Crook and Daniel Mays will co-star.

Paramount Pictures and Columbia Pictures Present a 3D Motion Capture Film “The Adventures of Tintin” directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by Steven Moffat and Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish. Starring Jamie Bell (“Billy Elliot,” “Defiance”) as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure, and Daniel Craig (“Quantum of Solace,” “Defiance”) as the nefarious Red Rackham.
