After releasing a massive batch of stills for David Yates’ upcoming adaptation The Legend of Tarzan, Warner Bros. has now pushed the final trailer for the film out the door. Placing the focus firmly on the titular character, the dark and moody footage presented here certainly has us excited.
Starring Alexander Skarsgard as Tarzan, Yates’ movie may be getting overshadowed by some of the other summer blockbusters coming our way, but there’s no reason not to check this one out in a few weeks’ time. The action looks thrilling and the cast is excellent across the board, with Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz lending their talents to support Skarsgard.
It’ll no doubt be tough for the film to standout in the upcoming summer season, with competition from the likes of Suicide Squad, Independence Day: Resurgence, Ghostbusters and Star Trek Beyond to name but a few, but it looks like there’s definitely enough here to provide for a thrilling adventure through the jungle, one that might just give us the best take on the iconic character yet.
