Another Avengers: Infinity War Poster Is Here To Whet Your Appetite

Is there a bigger, more impressive blockbuster currently in the works than Avengers: Infinity War? Sure, you have Warner's imminent Justice League and the mooted Godzilla Vs. Kong, but in the realm of Hollywood's shared universes, Infinity War stands head and burly shoulders above the rest because it's about to execute on a vision that began almost ten years ago with the release of Jon Favreau's Iron Man. Toss in a post-credits scene with Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury, now an MCU mainstay, and the rest is history.

Sure, you have Warner’s imminent Justice League and the mooted Godzilla Vs. Kong, but in the realm of Hollywood’s shared universes, Infinity War stands head and burly shoulders above the rest because it’s about to execute on a vision that began almost ten years ago with the release of Jon Favreau’s Iron Man. Toss in a post-credits scene with Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury, now an MCU mainstay, and the rest is history.

At the time of writing, we’re only about 7 months away for what’s arguably the biggest film release of the decade, if not the past few decades, so it’s a bit odd that Marvel really hasn’t begun to lift the lid back on Infinity War just yet. A trailer was supposed to drop on Friday, but never did, and while some promo posters emerged from San Diego Comic-Con, it’s still been pretty quiet on the marketing front.

Understandably, fans are starting to get impatient and luckily for us, some talented individuals have started releasing their own brilliant posters for the film. In recent weeks, we’ve seen a few truly spectacular one-sheets for Avengers: Infinity War courtesy of various artists and today, we’ve got another one, which you can check it out in the gallery below along with a few from last month.

As we’ve said before, the more of these that find their way online, the harder it’ll be for Marvel to impress us once they decide to drop the official posters for the film. Granted, they do have the advantage of being able to use shots and designs we’ve never seen before, but some of these fans are incredibly talented and at least two or three of the one-sheets in the gallery above could easily pass for the real thing.

So, just when will Marvel kick their marketing machine into gear? That remains to be seen, but hopefully it’ll be sooner rather than later, as Avengers: Infinity War is now less than a year away and will launch into theaters on May 4th, 2018. The fourth, so-far untitled Avengers film will then release in May of 2019, by which point viewers will be acquainted with Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers and her ’90s-set origin story. March 8th, 2019 is the date for your diaries for that one.
