Avengers: Endgame Leak Reveals The Return Of Tony’s Trusted Ally

Avengers: Endgame is expected to bring back many well-loved characters to the franchise. Hawkeye, Valkyrie, Ant-Man, you name them and they'll probably be showing up. But here's one that fans weren't exactly biting their nails over until their return was assured: Tony Stark's handy Dum-E (a play on "dummy") robot, who'll be making a comeback in the fourth Avengers movie.

As is the case with most of our relatively spoiler-y Endgame info, this knowledge comes our way via a new leaked LEGO set, which features a hovering Iron Man in his white Quantum Realm suit as well as Dum-E as an extra accessory.

See for yourself below:

So, what is Dum-E? Well, the faithful aid has often been seen at Tony’s side in his laboratory, helping him engineer his latest Iron Man armor. Sadly, the original version of the bot was destroyed along with Tony’s cliffside mansion in Malibu back in Iron Man 3. The good news though is that a refurbished version of Dum-E later turned up in Spider-Man: Homecoming, aiding Happy Hogan in the move from Avengers Tower.

LEGO sets have given us a lot of clues so far as to what’s next for Iron Man in Endgame. For one, we know he’ll debut his cutting-edge Mark 85 armor in the movie as well as the Quantum Realm suit, seen above. Plus, plenty of his past suits from the Iron Man trilogy will reappear in the film as well.

It’s fitting that so much of Tony’s past in the franchise should come back in Endgame, as all the signs are pointing to Robert Downey Jr. bowing out of the MCU with this one, which will be his 10th appearance in the role across 11 years. That remains unconfirmed for now, of course, but all will be revealed when Avengers: Endgame blasts into cinemas on April 26th.
