Avengers: Endgame Re-Release Includes A Hulk Post-Credits Scene And More

The upcoming re-release of Avengers: Endgame will include, among other things, an extra scene featuring the Hulk once the credits have rolled.
This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Having released several months ago already, it’s safe to say the hype and excitement surrounding Avengers: Endgame has died down quite a bit. Its box office performance has come to a crawl, and with the pic soon making its way to Blu-Ray and digital streaming platforms, it looks like its time in the sun has come and gone. Almost.

We say “almost” because Disney and Marvel haven’t entirely called it quits on their biggest release to date just yet. As you may’ve heard, Endgame is heading back to theaters this weekend with some new footage and a few other goodies for fans. And though Marvel has yet to officially announce what’ll be included, the Movie Details Twitter account has now spilled the beans, Tweeting the following (which we’ve confirmed with our own sources):

#AvengersEndgame Re-Release – Will include a message from the Russos. A Hulk post credit scene. A Stan Lee tribute and a sneak peek for #SpiderManFarFromHome!

So, not much in the way of new material then. Most fans were probably hoping for a good chunk of deleted footage to make its way back in, but aside from that post-credits scene featuring the Hulk – which apparently is just a fun little moment and doesn’t actually tease anything to come – there’s not much here worth getting excited about. Sure, the message from the Russos and the Stan Lee tribute are nice additions, but are they really worth heading back to the theater for? We’ll leave that to you to decide.

Then again, considering that the upcoming Far From Home ties so heavily into the events of Avengers: Endgame, it may be worth seeing one more time anyways. And who knows, maybe Marvel’s got some other surprises in store for us which weren’t listed in the above Tweet? Time will tell, but feel free to head on down to the comments section and let us know if you’ll be catching the re-release this weekend.
