As the release of Avengers: Endgame looms ever closer, fans are turning to Mark Ruffalo in the hope that he’ll share just a little bit of accidental intel on the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War sequel, and though it’s been a while now since the actor has dropped one of his patented spoilers, a new tweet has some of his followers thinking that he may be about to crack.

The recent Twitter post includes a GIF that sees Ruffalo and Cobie Smulders at a Marvel press junket making some wild hand gestures. And while it’s unclear what the original context for this moment is, the Bruce Banner actor apparently feels it fits well with his current predicament, writing:

“TFW you’re already struggling to juggle all your #NewYear’s Resolutions”

Though Ruffalo has yet to elaborate on the resolutions he’s referring to, some fans have at least jokingly suggested that the star is struggling to go cold turkey on the spoilers.

Based on what we’ve heard, the risk of loose-lipped cast members like Ruffalo and Tom Holland oversharing plot details has encouraged Marvel Studios to enforce some strict, often elaborate spoiler security measures, from giving their actors fake scripts, to only informing them of major story developments at the last minute. According to Karen Gillan, the Nebula actress was never even shown a full script for Endgame, suggesting that the cast are pretty in the dark themselves about the events of the movie.

As for Ruffalo’s involvement, it’s a safe bet that there’ll be a fair amount of Hulk action in the film to come, after Infinity War kept the beast at bay for most of its runtime. How exactly Bruce Banner will work out his issues with his green alter ego remains to be seen, but we’ll find out when Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
