Though you probably could’ve guessed it for yourself, some moviegoers require assurance that Iron Man won’t run out of oxygen while being far from home. In fact, while showing off Earth’s Mightiest Heroes’ sharp new white uniforms in the new trailer, there was one fella who couldn’t be missed – and that was Tony.

Seen below with Nebula and a Black Widow who’s opted to return to her more familiar scarlet hair is that of Shellhead himself. Given this visual evidence, it’s now safe to assume he’ll be sticking around for at least as long as the final showdown with Thanos. After all, what would such a smackdown be without the man whom many regard as being the face of the Marvel Cinematic Universe?

But when it comes to his survival of the third act, well, that’s not really something we can guarantee. Word has already gotten out that Endgame will be Robert Downey Jr.’s final appearance in the MCU. And though he’s starred in one successful superhero film after another, we have to accept that no actor will stick it out with the same role forever.

So, even if he’s joined in his exodus by other members of the old guard such as Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and Chris Evans’ Captain America, the future still looks bright for the brand. After all, Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther made more than a billion dollars by his lonesome just last year, and now Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel may follow suit. If anybody’s capable of carrying the torch going forward, it’s those two.

Avengers: Endgame arrives in theaters on April 26th.
