The concept art seems to depict the all-star clash on Titan, when Thanos faced off against Iron Man, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, Mantis, Nebula, Drax, and Doctor Strange, though the last two names on that list are absent from the illustration.

In Avengers: Infinity War, this fight scene made for a tense and well-orchestrated chapter, though for many viewers, the sequence is primarily remembered as the part where Peter Quill inadvertently ruined the plans of our heroes. And while directors Anthony and Joe Russo have repeatedly defended Star-Lord for losing his cool in the confrontation, many fans still harbor a grudge against Chris Pratt’s character.

In any case, once this art book comes out, it could be interesting to see if the images contain any clues for what to expect in next year’s Avengers 4. Either way, seeing how fans have a habit of scraping for hints wherever they can be found, you just know that this release is going to be used as evidence in a theory or two.

After all, the recent Marvel mega-hit left the MCU on by far its biggest cliffhanger to date, with three of the heroes featured in the above image being among the victims of the Mad Titan’s purge of the universe. That being said, with Spider-Man: Far From Home set to arrive in cinemas less than a year from now, it’s safe to say that the sequel to Infinity War will find a way of bringing him back into the action. And as for Mantis and Star-Lord, though we’re still a long way from getting another Guardians of the Galaxy, actor Dave Bautista has already publicly admitted that we’ll be seeing more of the cast in Avengers 4.

That film is set to arrive in cinemas on May 3rd, 2019, but first, The Art of Avengers: Infinity War will be coming out on November 6th of this year.
