First Trailer For Avengers: Infinity War Purportedly On Course For Early December Release

Looks like this morning’s leak was merely the appetizer ahead of the main course.

CBM has unearthed a new report claiming that the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Infinity War will be with us in December – early December, for that matter, ensuring that the promo is attached to screenings of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in four weeks’ time.

If true, it’ll be a shrewd tactic from Disney’s suits, who hold ownership of both Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm. Still, The Last Jedi is the final blockbuster on the current Hollywood calendar – save for Justice League, which is due to open tomorrow – so this will ensure Avengers: Infinity War is paraded in front of as many eyeballs as possible. Not that Infinity War needs much promoting; after 10 years of Marvel movies, a film designed to bring the MCU’s leading heroes together under the one roof practically sells itself.

As for the actual timing of Marvel’s grand unveiling, former IGN journalist Jeremy Conrad has narrowed the window down to early December, meaning we may be three-to-four weeks away from catching our first official glimpse of Avengers: Infinity War in action. Now isn’t that exciting? Joe and Anthony Russo’s mega-movie is undoubtedly one of the biggest films of 2018, so we’re intrigued to see how viewers react to its initial teaser.

It’s a film of “infinite proportions,” according to Marvel boss Kevin Feige, and we’ll be able to see what all the fuss is about when Avengers: Infinity War drops on May 4th, 2018. Soon after that, the MCU will swing its doors open to Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel, the first female-fronted Marvel film, before Avengers 4 ties a bow around Phase 3 in 2019.
