As one of, if not the biggest comic book movies currently in production, Marvel is finding it awfully difficult to keep a lid on Avengers: Infinity War.

Joe and Anthony Russo’s star-studded event film is currently lensing in Edinburgh, and ever since the blockbuster set up shop in the Scottish capital, the Internet has been awash with set photos depicting Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) in action. Going one step further, ComicBook has spotted a set video featuring both Avengers dressed in civvies, and it looks like Infinity War will take their romance to a whole new level – quite literally, as Paul Bettany’s synthetic is seen here without his striking red skin. Could it be that Vision has had the Mind Stone taken away, and is therefore reduced to a regular old robot? Time will tell.

The Mind Stone is one of six Infinity Stones set to feature in Avengers: Infinity War and beyond. For eons, they’ve been scattered across the corners of the universe, though with Thanos looming large on the cosmic horizon, all of those precious gems are beginning to coalesce. That portends all sorts of chaos for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, particularly now that Josh Brolin’s Mad Titan is ready to get off that levitating throne and take matters into his own hands, Infinity Gauntlet in tow. Can the Avengers topple Thanos? Either way, and much to the delight of Marvelites the world over, they’ll be fighting out of the same corner as the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Once Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther each have their time in the limelight, all eyes will turn toward Avengers: Infinity War. The Marvel event film has been penciled in for May 4th, 2018, and will tee up the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4 ahead of its release the following year.
